FAIRLESS HILLS (AP) – Authorities say a 33-year-old Pennsylvania man was taken into custody months after a New Jersey National Guard helicopter crew spotted a marijuana farm.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports Daniel Santos was arrested Wednesday and arraigned on drug delivery charges. Police say the Falls man lives about a mile away from the suspected farm.

Bucks County Detective David Hanks says 117 pot plants were seized from the wooded area. He says those have a street value of about $90,000.

The New Jersey National Guard spotted the pot in May and contacted Hanks. Authorities investigated Santos for months before taking him into custody this week.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
