Police beat Dec. 8
Hunting rifle lost: State police said Paul Wendt, 77, of Bethel Park, lost his hunting rifle Nov. 30 while hunting in a wooded area off of Green Valley Road in Aleppo Township. Police said anyone with information on the gun’s location should contact them at 724-627-6151.
Park shed damaged: State police said a vandal damaged a door to the Dunkard Township Park’s concessions stand and storage shed between Nov. 21 and Dec. 5.
UTV stolen: A 2012 Bobcat six-seat UTV and utility trailer were stolen Dec. 1 from a parking lot along Caldwell in Franklin Township, state police said.
Two-vehicle crash: State police said one person suffered a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash shortly after noon Friday on Route 21 near the Masontown Bridge in Monongahela Township. Police said a westbound SUV driven by Mary Presher of Uniontown collided with a westbound box truck driven by Craig Kocak of Gibsonia. A passenger in Presher’s vehicle, Mary Rankin of Uniontown, suffered a minor injury in the crash, police said. Cumberland police and Carmichaels-Cumberland volunteer firefighters assisted troopers at the scene.
