Neighborhood disturbance: Matthew Fehling, 32, of 435 E. Fifth Ave., Crucible, faces charges of resisting arrest, possession of a prohibited weapon, disorderly conduct, trespassing and public drunkenness after a Dec. 4 incident in his neighborhood. Cumberland police said he was loud and causing a disturbance in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Police said he kicked the rear windows of a police cruiser after his arrest and officers had to use a Taser to subdue him.

False ID to police: Angelica Lynn Lawver, 23, of 224 Lenox St., Uniontown, faces drug charges after an Oct. 18 traffic stop in Crucible. Cumberland Township police said they stopped Lawver’s car along Crucible Road and she initially gave them a false identity. Officers found 34 empty stamp bags, a plastic bag with a powder substance and paraphernalia in her purse, according to court documents. Lawver was charged Dec. 3 with false identification to police, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.

Contraband brought into prison: Laina Lu Winters, 49, of 2016 Kittanning Pike, Parker, was charged with attempting to bring contraband into SCI-Greene prison Aug. 22. State police said she brought two deflated balloons filled with marijuana into the facility and packed them into a hamburger in a vending area of the jail. She then met with her inmate son, Joshua Young, and gave him the hamburger, which he partially ate before corrections officers surrounded them, police said. Young ingested one balloon, police said, but was able to regurgitate it so the officers could retrieve the marijuana. Police charged Winters Dec. 3.

Two charged in theft: State police charged Troy L. Shultz, 21, of 361 Water Dam Road, Waynesburg, and Michael T. Hodgson, 27, of 172 Tollgate Run Road, Waynesburg, with theft from a vehicle and criminal conspiracy for allegedly stealing nearly $2,000 worth of tools Oct. 22 from a truck parked on Hull Run Road in Morgan Township. Police said Shultz and another Hodgson sold the tools to a Ruff Creek resident, but bought them back and returned them to the victim. Police charged them Nov. 25.
