Police beat Dec. 17
Faces charges: Adam Dellenbaugh, 28, of White Street, Washington, faces charges after he crashed into landscaping at Dunkin’ Donuts, Cavasina Drive, Tuesday night, Canonsburg police said. He reportedly was involved in a road rage incident earlier in South Strabane Township, ran over orange cones on Route 19 in North Strabane Township before hitting a wall on Weavertown Road in North Strabane. Police said it appears he was huffing after finding cans of aerosol cleaner in his vehicle along with beer. He was taken to Canonsburg Hospital where blood was drawn. Charges will be filed after the results are known, police said.
Man arrested: Matthew Schneider, 24, of 1106 Lower Crest Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant obtained by Charleroi Regional police on charges of possession of heroin and Alprazolam and paraphernalia stemming from a Nov. 28 incident at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Drug arrest: Rachel Nicole Acton, 26, of 445 Bow St., Stockdale, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia stemming from a Dec. 8 traffic stop by Charleroi Regional police in the 400 block of Center Avenue, North Charleroi. Police found 144 stamp bags of suspected heroin in her vehicle. A man who was a passenger fled from the vehicle during the stop. She was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
DUI crash: Marc J. Russo, 40, of 610 McElree Road, North Franklin, faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after he reportedly crashed his vehicle into a utility pole in the 10 block of McElree Monday night, township police said.
Theft charge: Marcia Lynn Kovach, 252 Middle St., Brownsville, was charged by North Franklin police with retail theft after she allegedly stole items valued at $240 from Macy’s, Washington Crown Center, Dec. 8.
Weapons charge: Ryan P. Vogel, 40, of 1134 First St., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with possessing a weapon on school property. Police were working security at Canon-McMillan High School when they received information Vogel had a gun. Police said he had a pistol on his hip and another strapped in a holster on his ankle. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
False reports: Travon Lovings, 26, of Pittsburgh, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with false reports by falsely incriminating another and false identification after he identified himself as Mark Revis during his arrest on theft charges over the weekend at Tanger Outlets. Police are withdrawing the theft charges against Revis. Lovings is currently in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. He will be arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft charge: Kristin Ann Barfield, 51, of 220 1/2 Ridge Ave., Washington, was charged Tuesday by South Strabane police with theft of lost or mislaid property after she allegedly stole a cellphone from an employee at Toys ‘R Us, Washington Mall, Friday. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft arrest: Cody T. Nichols, 28, of 821 Crest Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Tuesday by South Strabane police on a felony charge of retail theft and defiant trespass after he allegedly stole items from Walmart, Trinity Point, He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Arraigned in theft: Devon Smith, 24, of Holland, Ohio, was arrested by South Strabane police Tuesday on a charge of retail theft after he allegedly stole items valued at $154 from Walmart, Trinity Point. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
Buses damaged: Several buses owned by GG&C Bus Co. of Canton Township had windows damaged while parked Monday and Tuesday in the 600 block of Catfish Alley, Washington police said.
iPad, cellphone stolen: Han JiJang, 325 Third St., told Washington police through an interpreter Tuesday his Apple iPad and cellphone were stolen in a burglary of his home.
Two face charges: Robert Bedillion, 46, of 920 E. Maiden St., Washington, and Mark Jones, 39, of 720 Ewing St., Washington, will each be charged by Washington police with disorderly conduct and harassment stemming from a physical confrontation Tuesday at the rear of 168 S. Main St.
Televisions stolen: Robert Shingleton, 161 W. Walnut St., told Washington police two televisions and his cellphone were stolen in a burglary of his home Monday.
Money stolen: Dorneathia Yarbrough of Washington told Washington police Monday $300 was stolen from her purse while she was at the 50 Yard Line bar, Henderson Avenue.
House burglarized: Charmaine Mounts of Claysville told Washington police Monday a house she owns in the 300 block of Houston Street was burglarized within the last month. The burglar left behind a knife. It is not known what was stolen.
Card used: Nakista Marshall, 540 W. Chestnut St., told Washington police Monday her debit card was stolen and used to withdraw $505 from her account.
Vehicle damaged: Robert Cunningham of Canton Township told Washington police Monday a rear window of his vehicle was broken while it was parked in the 10 block of West Chestnut Street.
Drug charges: Russell Charles Byrd, 38, of 1195 Sycamore Street, was charged by summons for illegal drug possession after a State Police trooper stopped him Dec. 6 as he walked toward Auto Zone on Jefferson and was visibly distressed, police said. When the trooper asked if he was alright, he attempted to discretely throw three packets of heroin underneath the trooper’s patrol vehicle, according to court documents.
