Peters Township police are looking for help from the public to identify the driver of a minivan that struck a man on a lawn tractor Wednesday and fled.

Police said a newer minivan driven by a white man struck the rear of a lawn tractor driven by a man who was on his way to collect his mail about 3:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Bower Hill Road in Venetia. Police said the man was initially taken to Canonsburg Hospital for a shoulder injury. They were not able to immediately provide his identity.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 724-942-5030.
