Pittsburgh man shot in leg on way home from grocery store

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the leg while walking home from the grocery store.

Police say the 62-year-old was shot around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in the city’s Hazelwood section.

They say the victim and a man he was walking with weren’t able to describe the suspect.

The victim is listed in good condition at UPMC Presbyterian.

An investigation is continuing.
