Cornerstone Care’s “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” Project will offer free clinical breast exams and mammogram referrals at Waynesburg Senior Center from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 17. “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” provides women over age 40 with free clinical breast exams conducted by a medical professional, and mammogram referrals. The project assists the uninsured and underinsured in obtaining a free or low-cost mammogram. The project also provides education and outreach to men and women on the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer. “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” is a program made possible with funding provided by Susan G. Komen, Pittsburgh. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Both insured and uninsured women are encouraged to attend. To schedule an appointment or to obtain more information about the project, contact Christina Livingston at 724-705-3195 or by email at clivingston@cornerstonecare.com.
