Fence damaged: Pete Graziotto told Canonsburg police Saturday that fence at his property on Duquesne Avenue was damaged.

Motorist charged: David Corkery, 24, of 166 McGovern Road, Houston, was charged Sunday with drug possession and driving with a suspended license, police said.

Window damaged: Joseph M. Reinke, 66 Browntown Road, Cross Creek, told state police that the window on his car was broken by vandals.

Two charged: Ruth Hawkins-Griffin, 112 Allen Ave., Donora, and Theresa Ward-Terry, 44, 466 Third St., Donora, were arrested Sunday afternoon on drug charges stemming from an incident in the 700 block of Meldon Avenue. Ward-Terry allegedly had two stamp bags of suspected heroin while Hawkins-Griffin had a straw of suspected cocaine. Both were arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of possession, conspiracy and criminal use of a communications facility. Ward-Terry also was charged with possession with intent to deliver. Hawkins-Griffin was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond while Ward-Terry was put in jail on $35,000 bond.

Driver charged: Charles G. Moore, 53, of New Haven, Conn., will be charged by state police with failure to obey a traffic control device after he allegedly turned his rig down a street where truck traffic was prohibited in Ellsworth Sunday afternoon. The rig struck a utility pole, snapping it in half, on Beech Street.

Home damaged: Alexas Zirwas of Magnolia Street told McDonald police Wednesday that she returned home from vacation to find that the inside of her residence had been trashed. She also found holes from a pellet gun in unfinished drywall. She also found a video had been taken with her iPad.

Charged in two cases: Katie Lynn Holzworth, 21, of 7 Overlook St., Library, was arraigned Saturday on a warrant as well as theft charges stemming from an incident last week. Monongahela police obtained a warrant on charges of possession of heroin and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop on West Main Street in August. She also is charged with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a wedding ring from 576 Parkway St., Monongahela, on Thursday and selling it at a Mt. Lebanon jewelry store. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft charge: Andrea N. Bloom, 27, of Mill Run was arrested Saturday by Monongahela police on a felony charge of retail theft for allegedly stealing items at Dollar General, 1237 W. Main St. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Mother charged: Carla Kump, 40, of 70 Main St., Hickory, was arrested early Sunday by Mt. Pleasant police for allegedly slapping and scratching her 15-year-old daughter during a confrontation at their home. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Charged in crash: Steven Powell, 28, of Washington, will be charged by Mt. Pleasant police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and driving under the influence stemming from a crash Friday on Henderson Road. He was taken to a local hospital for drug and alcohol testing.

DUI charge: Dennis Kinkela, 40, of Slovan, will be charged by Mt. Pleasant police with driving under the influence of alcohol after he reportedly crashed into construction equipment early Saturday on Walnut Road. Police said he refused to submit an alcohol test. Additional charges are pending the cost of damage to the equipment owned by Kukurin Contracting.

Theft charge: Paul David Phillips, 28, of 60 S. Wade Ave., Washington, was arrested Wednesday by North Franklin police on a charge of retail theft for allegedly stealing pants at Macy’s, Washington Crown Center. He was placed in Washington County jail on a probation detainer.

Vehicles crash: Judith W. Dumm, 72, of 112 Saxon Drive, McMurray, and Barbara L. Solensky, 83, of Joseph Drive, Canonsburg, escaped injury Thursday morning when their vehicles collided at of Morganza and McClelland roads.

Indecent exposure: Police are looking for a white man in his early 20s with a thin build who exposed himself Sunday to dog walkers in Peterswood Park. The man was wearing a white T-shirt and short, black shorts.

Retail theft: Dominique Holt, 25, of Duquesne Place, Duquesne, was charged Friday with retail theft for taking items from Kmart on Washington Road, township police said. Holt, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from West Mifflin, was turned over to police there.

Two arrested: Taryll Matthew Skaggs, 39, and Billiejo M. Bacro, 34, both of Smithton, were arrested Saturday by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft and conspiracy after they allegedly stole a flat-screen television from Walmart, Trinity Point. They were arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Purse stolen: Marjorie Christman of Washington told South Strabane police Friday her purse containing $40 and a state access card was stolen from Giant Eagle, Strabane Square.

Retail theft charge: Mary Jane Donaldson, 53, of Monessen, was charged by South Strabane police with misdemeanor retail theft for allegedly stealing a set of pots and pans from Walmart, Trinity Point Thursday.

Theft: Mishelle Price reported to city police that she lost her purse Friday somewhere between the Exxon on Murtland Avenue and East Hallam Avenue. When she found the purse, her cellphone and wallet had been stolen.

Vehicle stolen: Ruben Gordon reported to city police that his white 2012 Subaru Legacy sedan was stolen overnight Saturday. He said his wife parked the vehicle next to their residence on Canton Avenue at 1:30 a.m.

Two arrested: Jason L. Thompson, 32, of Valley Grove, W.Va., and Donald S. Knupp Jr., 27, of 246 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, were arrested by city police at about 2:45 p.m. Sunday and cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly attempting to fight in front of West End Bottle Shop on the 10 block of Cumberland Avenue. Police said Thompson’s SUV was partially blocking the northbound lane of Cumberland Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Kyle Ray Caldwell, 19, of 356 Jefferson Ave., Washington; Taylor Lee Chambers, 19, of the same address; and Brooke N. Chambers, 21, of 366 Houston St., Washington, were cited by city police with disorderly conduct for allegedly causing a disturbance at Family Dollar on East Beau Street at 3:15 p.m. Sunday. Police said Kyle Caldwell attempted to fight an individual inside the store.

Harassment: Michael Mallory Jr., 27, of 145 Church St., Washington, was cited by city police with harassment for allegedly punching a woman twice Sunday while she was visiting friends at a residence on the 200 block of North Franklin Street.

Theft: Laura Vincenti reported to city police that several items, including a grill and bicycle, were stolen from her porch on the 200 block of Locust Avenue at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
