Restaurant, hotel cited by LCE
Two Greene County establishments have been cited by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for various liquor law violations last year.
Jefferson Hotel, 1428 Jefferson Road, was cited Feb. 2 for allegedly serving alcohol to two visibly intoxicated patrons Nov. 7.
The LCE also alleged the hotel failed to display documentary evidence that the premises met all sanitary requirements for a public eating place and failed to clean the malt or brewed beverage dispensing system at least once every seven days.
Also cited was the Stoney Point Restaurant and Lounge, 105 Reservoir Hill Road, Morgan Township.
The citation was issued Jan. 21 for a liquor law violation Dec. 1, alleging the restaurant served alcoholic beverages to a 19-year-old minor.
In both instances, the charges will be brought before an administrative law judge, who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
