Demaske’s Tavern cited by LCE for various violations
The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited Demaske’s Tavern, Jefferson, Jan. 30 for a host of violations.
The LCE alleges Demaske’s sold alcohol to a minor Dec. 1, and during other times last year, the tavern operated gambling devices or permitted gambling, pool selling and bookmaking, and engaged in the traffic or sale of a controlled substance and permitted the establishment to be used “in the furtherance of the traffic in, or use of, a controlled substance.”
These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
