Police beat Feb. 14
Tools stolen: Tools were stolen from 159 Bunner Hill Road between 11 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, state police said. The property is owned by Greene County Redevelopment Authority.
Burglary: Welding leads and an extension cord were stolen from a shed at a house on Franklin Street Tuesday, state police said. The lock was cut to gain entry to the shed at the home of Vaughn Chapman of Jefferson. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 724-627-6151.
Theft: Tammy Adams, 44, of Big Shannon Run Road, Mt. Morris, told Southwest Regional Police jewelry with an estimated value of $2,000 was stolen from her home Tuesday. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Southwest Regional Police at 724-929-8484.
Man charged: Eric R. Johnson, 40, of 276 Calverts Hill Road, Spraggs, was charged Friday by Southwestern Regional Police with three counts of persons not to possess, use, control, sell or transfer firarms. The charges relate to an incident at his home Nov. 18, police said.
