Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:
Ashley N. Simpkins, 27, 139 Fourth St., Clarksville; bad checks; charged Aug. 2; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
Francis N Falcon, 32, 300 Weir Cole Road, Prosperity; resisting arrest; charged Sept. 27; sentence – 23 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with 90 days in jail and credit for time served and mental health evaluation and treatment.
Troy D. Pocky, 53, 504 Underwood Ave., Roscoe; first offense of driving under the influence; charged May 14; sentence – 10 days to 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
John D. Denman, 44, 535 Moore Road, Washington; first offense of driving under the influence; charged June 29; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Giovanni Corradi, 74, 103 Rose Leaf Drive, Pittsburgh; second offense of DUI; charged Feb. 21; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with first 30 days on SCRAM device and first 60 days on electronic home monitoring, $750 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Ronald N. Heirendt, 46, 606 E. Grove Ave., McDonald; second offense of DUI; charged July 12; sentence – 18 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with first 3 months on SCRAM device and first 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Randall L. Evans, 48, 840 Addison St., Washington; first offense of DUI; charged April 18; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
William J. Beaver, 59, 240 N. College St., Washington; simple assault; charged Dec. 22, 2013; sentence – 23 months of probation, anger management and domestic violence counseling, 50 hours of community service, restitution and no contact with victim.
William P. Thompson, 23, 623 Washington Ave., Charleroi; third offense of DUI and driving without a license; charged May 28; sentence – 5 years of probation with first 23 months in the Restrictive Treatment Program and first year on electronic home monitoring, $2,525 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month interlock ignition device.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman was:
Elizabeth A. Smith, 25, 3256 Constitution Boulevard, Claysville; four counts of furnishing alcohol to minors; charged June 18, 2011; sentence – 24 months of probation, $1,000 fine and 200 hours of community service.
Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program they can petition the court to have their record expunged.
Brandon W. Muske, 28, 5934 McPherson Ave., Bethel Park, was admitted for 12 months for DUI, charged June 17.
Michael R. Sexton, 16 Ward St., Washington, was admitted for 12 months for DUI and operating a vehicle without valid inspection, charged Aug. 9.
Mark E. McVay, 56, 271 Green Hill Drive, Washington, was admitted for 12 months for DUI, charged Aug. 2.
James Sickles, 19, 10 Ten Mile Road, Clarksville, was admitted for 12 months for disorderly conduct, charged Nov. 13.
Ryan M. Rogal, 22, 166 Chess St., New Eagle, was admitted for 23 months for theft and receiving stolen property, charged Sept. 16.
John M. Tishok, 58, Key West, Fla., was admitted for 12 months for indecent exposure and open lewdness, charged July 18.
Alexis C. Sherman, 22, 179 Jollick Manor, Washington, was admitted for 12 months for disorderly conduct, charged Nov. 13.
John Mendrola, 23, 3 Elizabeth St., Washington, was admitted for 18 months for forgery and theft, charged Dec. 13, 2013.
Deneen Hathaway, 34, 42 E. Wheeling St., Washington, was admitted for 12 months for theft, charged Sept. 4.
Vanessa N. McDermott, 21, 182 Hathaway Road, Claysville, was admitted for 12 months for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, charged Aug. 26.
Scott A. Meighen, 36, 42 E. Wheeling St., Washington, was admitted for 12 months for theft, charged Sept. 4.
Crystal L. Huber Rizzo, 51, 123 Bower Hill Road, Venetia, was admitted for 6 months for obstructing law enforcement and hindering apprehension, charged Nov. 18.
