1 min read

WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg man pleaded guilty Feb. 9 to driving under the influence of alcohol, his second DUI offense in 10 years, and was sentenced by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Michael E. Shatley, 31, of 274 N. Cherry Alley, was arrested July 14 by Waynesburg Borough police. He refused a blood-alcohol test.

Shatley was sentenced to 90 days to five years of probation with the first 90 days served under house arrest. The court determined Shatley was eligible to have his probationary supervision transferred to Dickenson County, Va.

Shatley also was ordered to pay a $300 fine, to participate in random drug and alcohol testing and to comply with any treatment recommendations.
