Coal truck overturns on Toll 43 in California
A coal truck driver was injured Thursday afternoon when his rig overturned onto its side on the northbound ramp entering the Mon-Fayette Expressway in California.
The onramp from Route 40 onto Toll 43 was closed for more than two hours as crews turned the truck upright and removed debris from the road following the 12:30 p.m. crash.
The driver, whose name and condition were not immediately available, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, California fire Chief Tom Hartley said.
Two tow trucks were used to turn the truck upright.
