Homicide probe opened after woman found shot to death in car

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police in western Pennsylvania have opened a criminal homicide investigation into the woman found shot to death inside a vehicle.

State police in Fayette County said troopers were initially sent to an area of Route 40 on Summit Mountain in North Union Township for a possible vehicle crash.

Police said snow plow operators stopped to check on the vehicle and discovered the body of 37-year-old Mya Ann Grady of Uniontown.

Investigators determined upon their arrival that Grady had been shot.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to call them or contact Fayette County Crime Stoppers.
