A Chartiers Township woman is accused of driving drunk with her 7-year-old son in the car to a Washington apartment where she planned to have sex with three other people while the boy was in the residence early Tuesday morning, city police said.

City police said officers were called to an apartment at 395 Donnan Ave. about 1 a.m. and found Heather Young shouting in the hallway.

Police said Young, 34, of 529 Brigich Road, was irate following an argument with another woman inside the apartment when Young began undressing in front of her juvenile son. A man in the apartment told police Young went there to have sex with three people.

Young was drunk and shouting, police said, so she was placed in handcuffs by officers and escorted to a police car. Police said she spit at an officer and tried to kick him while she was placed in the back seat.

City police charged Young with multiple counts of aggravated assault, indecent exposure, child endangerment, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and driving under the influence. District Judge Robert Redlinger arraigned Young on the charges and she was taken to Washington County jail on a bench warrant.

The boy was handed over to his father, and Children & Youth Services is investigating the situation.

Another woman, Courtney Orgovan, 23, of Washington, was cited by city police for harassment following the altercation in the apartment with Young.
