Man waives hearing on burglary charges

1 min read

A Washington man arrested by state police earlier this month for his alleged role in five burglaries last October in Amwell, Blaine and South Franklin townships waived his case to court Monday.

Antonio Redman Heath, 30, of 77 Linnwood Drive, faces charges of conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, attempted burglary, receiving stolen property, burglary, theft and theft by deception. He had been scheduled for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Ethan Ward.

He and his alleged co-conspirator, Eric James Pollock, 25, of 1067 Route 18, Burgettstown, are accused of breaking into homes. Heath allegedly served as a lookout during most of the burglaries.

Among the items stolen were jewelry, prescription medication, cash, liquor and clothing.

Heath, who has been in Washington County jail since his arrest, had his bond reduced from $250,000 to $100,000. He will be formally arraigned on the charges April 30.

Pollock, who was arrested in October, is awaiting trial on similar charges.
