3rd suspect named in bar shooting
PITTSBURGH (AP) – Police arrested a third suspect in the shooting death of a security guard at a Pittsburgh bar.
Eric McGuire turned himself in Wednesday and was charged with homicide, robbery and conspiracy in the Feb. 16 shooting death of 24-year-old Deion Nesbitt at the Rendezvous Phase III.
The 29-year-old is jailed without bail. Online court records did not list a lawyer to comment on the charges.
Police arrested 26-year-old Harvey Scott of Pittsburgh when he crashed his car near the bar after the shooting. They said 30-year-old Tiqwan Green of Wilkinsburg surrendered to police Monday.
Police said Scott shot Nesbitt three times and grazed a female guard when they confronted him about pulling a gun from his ankle at the bar in the city’s Homewood section.
