Virginia Wesleyan board names Scott Miller as president

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Bethany College President Scott Miller has been named president of Virginia Wesleyan College.

Virginia Wesleyan says its Board of Trustees chose Miller on Wednesday during a special meeting. Miller will succeed William T. Greer, who will retire in June.

Miller has served as president of the private college in West Virginia for eight years. He previously served as president of Wesley College in Delaware and Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.

Miller will be Virginia Wesleyan’s fourth president.
