Columbia Gas still restoring service in California
All but 50 residents in California Borough were able to use natural gas in their homes Saturday morning.

He said the company added safety features to the regulator site and restored service for most customers by 7:30 p.m. Friday.
“Right now, everything is operating normally and the pressures are holding,” he said, “so we believe it was just an anomaly related to the weather and cold temperatures.”
The borough’s fire hall and California University of Pennsylvania’s convocation center served as warming shelters for affected residents without heat. The American Red Cross was stationed at the convocation center to offer assistance.
