A Pittsburgh man was killed in a car accident early Saturday morning on Interstate 79 in Washington Township, Greene County.

Zachary J. Zatezalo, 22, was driving south on the highway near the Ruff Creek exit about 6 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle around a curve and drove up an embankment, according to state police in Waynesburg. The vehicle rolled over onto the berm of the southbound lanes, and Zatezalo was ejected.

Police said Zatezalo was not wearing a seat belt and identified speeding as a factor.
