Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

David W. Kempf, 30, 14 Acheson Ave., Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged Sept. 10; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Vanessa D. Fristick, 25, 1761 McKeesport Road, McKees Rocks; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 12; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Donald E. May, 24, Lakeland, Fla.; possession of a controlled substance; charged Aug. 17; placed in the Probation Without Verdict program for 6 months.

Kayla M. Jarvis, 23, 643 McCrea Ave., Donora; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 20, 2012; sentence – 12 months of probation.
