Police seek suspect in Somerset Twp. robbery

Authorities are looking a man who robbed the Kwik Fill gas station and convenience store in Somerset Township Sunday morning.

The suspect arrived at the store at about 8:40 a.m. in a white, 2014 Dodge Avenger that was reported stolen earlier Sunday, state police said. The suspect entered the store, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money from the register. The employee gave an undetermined amount of money to a man, who fled in the stolen vehicle traveling south on state Route 519.

The suspect is white, in his mid 20s, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 lbs. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with black jeans, black gloves and a black ball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Washington at 724-223-5200.
