Man sentenced in drug ring
An Ohio man was sentenced Monday to 21 months in federal prison for his role in a large-scale cocaine distribution network between Warren, Ohio, and Washington that operated between January 2011 and June 2012.
The indictment of Allan Williams, 40, of Warren, resulted from an investigation using wiretaps on cellphones, one that also led to 10 others pleading guilty to their roles in a heroin ring that operated between Detroit, Mich., and Washington, U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton stated in a news release.
Williams’ prison sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release.
