Mischief charge: Clarence E. Shrader, 61, of 419 Cracraft Road, Washington, will be charged by state police with criminal mischief and driving with a suspended license. He reportedly was driving a tow truck when he backed over a mailbox at 2175 S Bridge Road, Buffalo, and fled the scene Saturday.

Jewelry stolen: Vicki Stanko, 432 First St., told Chartiers police Saturday she discovered earlier last week that jewelry was stolen from her home. She believes the theft happened while she was on vacation last month.

Yard damaged: William Doriguzzi of Fredericktown told state police Sunday a large car drove through his yard that day, damaging it.

One injured: Lynzi K. Justice, 20, of Donora, was slightly injured Saturday when her vehicle struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Ronald Tater, 37, of Smithfield, on Interstate 70 west near the Eighty Four exit. Her vehicle then caught fire. Police said she suffered facial injuries.
