Shelter reservations for Mingo Creek, Ten Mile Creek and Cross Creek county parks will begin Monday. Reservations should be filed with Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation, Room 705 of the Washington County Courthouse Square building. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Reservations from Monday to Jan. 31 will be accepted only in person or by mail. Beginning Feb. 2, reservations will also be accepted by telephone using a credit card. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and payment in full is due at the time of the reservation.

Permit applications are available at the following locations in Washington County: Bentleyville library, Brownsville Municipal Building, Burgettstown Borough Building, California Borough Building, Canonsburg Borough Building, Charleroi Chamber of Commerce, Cross Creek Township Building, Donora Borough Building, Agway in Eighty Four, Giant Eagle in Finleyville, Peters Township Municipal Building, Monongahela Borough Building, Washington County Chamber of Commerce and McDonald Borough Building.
