Cornerstone Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the log cabin courthouse, Greene Street, Waynesburg. Zack and Kayla Patton will present a program on the history of Jacktown Fair. The public is welcome to attend. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be canceled.
The Pittsburgh Food Bank canceled the monthly Produce to People food distribution at Harveys-Aleppo Grange for Friday because of the weather. The distribution is expected to resume Feb. 13.
The next monthly support group meeting for friends and relatives of those who suffer from substance abuse of any kind will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of the Jefferson Baptist Church, 179 Pine Street, Jefferson. This is a gathering where friends and relatives who are struggling with how to deal with their loved ones’ addictions can share experiences. A Wal-Mart-Waynesburg community blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at the donor coach at Wal-Mart, 405 Murtha Drive, Waynesburg. All participating donors will receive a $10 gift card to Wal-Mart.
