The incident occurred about 10:15 a.m. at a well site operated by CNX Gas on Mt. Zion Road. According to Morris Township fire Chief Dave Dietrich, the man was working on an elevated work platform when he fell backwards and landed on a metal platform. The man, whose identity was not available, was conscious and is expected to live, but sustained several injuries, Dietrich said. He was taken by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital.
