DUI arrest: Angela Denise Campa, 46, of 9 Charles St., Burgettstown, was charged by McDonald police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, failure to render aid and leaving the scene of an accident stemming from a Jan. 4 hit-and-run crash on Shady Avenue in Burgettstown. A utility pole was struck, bringing down wires on a parked vehicle. Police said they found Campa’s vehicle parked in her driveway. Her blood alcohol content was almost 2 ½ times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed, according to police. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

DUI, escape charges: Gregory Alan Williams, 50, of 89 Highland Ave., Burgettstown, was charged Saturday by McDonald police with escape, flight to avoid apprehension, DUI and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop on Main Street at Route 18 in Burgettstown. Police stopped Williams, who allegedly got out of his vehicle against the orders of police and entered his home. Police performed a field-sobriety test, but Williams reportedly refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Club cited: The operators of White Barn Supper Club, 2212 Route 88, Dunlevy, were cited Friday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with failing to have their manager complete training.

Man jailed: David B. Patterson, 67, of 342 E. Beau St., East Washington, is charged by borough police with simple assault and harassment over accusations he pushed his wife, Patricia, to the ground about 5:45 p.m. Friday at his residence, court records show. He is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Warrant arrest: William E. Lowe, 43, of 7 Wood Lane, Avella, was taken into custody Jan. 5 by McDonald police during a traffic stop in Independence on a warrant obtained by Chartiers police.

DUI arrest: Wayne Robert Conklin, 54, of Follansbee, W.Va., was charged Friday by McDonald police with DUI and having open containers of beer after police say he was speeding on Route 844 in Independence. Police said his BAC was 2 ½ times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Arrested on warrant: Cottie M. Richter, 24, of 335 Buffalo Road South in Hopewell Township, is charged by McDonald police with illegal possession of Suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license in connection with a traffic stop about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 30 on East Ohara Street, court records show. She was sent to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond after being apprehended on a warrant and arraigned Saturday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Warrant served: Richard Arbuckle, 28, of McDonald, was taken into custody by McDonald police Wednesday on a bench warrant. He was at the police station to meet his probation officer.

Possession charges: Roosevelt B. Archie, 29, and Karen L. Brackman, 29, both of 12 Lincoln St., Bulger, were charged by McDonald police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia stemming from a Jan. 2 traffic stop at Valley and North McDonald streets. Brackman also was charged with traffic violations. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.

Drug charges: Kristin Michele Steffan, 30, of 485 Allison Ave., Washington, will be charged by North Franklin police with possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found her with 83 stamp bags of suspected heroin after they were called to Days Inn, 1370 W. Chestnut St., to remove an occupant of a room for nonpayment. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger. Steffan also was arraigned Saturday on charges of forgery and conspiracy filed by Washington police over accusations she passed three counterfeit $20 bills at McDonald’s, 999 Jefferson Ave., about 11:40 p.m. April 29, court records show. She was sent to Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

One injured: Lara Shanahan, 45, of 1360 Meadowbrook Drive, North Strabane, was injured Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Route 19 at Zeman Drive, North Strabane police said. The other drivers were identified as Carrigan Kiger of Waynesburg and Rebecca Slattery, 55, of Finleyville.

Generators stolen: Timothy Jacobs told North Strabane police Friday that two generators, an extension cord and gasoline were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at the Comfort Inn, 237 Meadowlands Boulevard.

Guns stolen: Douglas Hildebrand of Statement Avenue told South Strabane police Friday that a rifle and revolver were stolen from his home.

Two face charges: Michael Davis, 26, of 125 Old Meadow Road, Canonsburg, and Wesley Jay Bruce Jr., 31, of 380 Donnan Ave., Washington, face charges stemming from the theft of a mattress top from Wal-Mart, Trinity Point, Sunday. Davis will be charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing the top, while Bruce will be charged with theft by deception for allegedly returning the item for a gift card.

ATVs trespassing: Southwest Regional police were called Thursday to Mineral Beach, Route 88, for a report of all-terrain vehicles trespassing on the field. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Scam reported: An Elrama man told Southwest Regional police Thursday that he received a call from a man with a foreign accent claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service. The Elrama man was told that he owes money to the IRS and would be arrested if he hung up. The man hung up only to have the other man call back three times.

Aggravated assault charge: Ronald Slater III, 22, of 431 N. Main St., Washington, was charged with aggravated assault and illegal weapon sales after he attacked Joshua David with a knife about 4:40 p.m. Friday along the 100 block of West Chestnut Street, Washington police said. David suffered a superficial scratch on his chest. Slater was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and was released on $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 22.
