Theft reported: Money was stolen from the safe at Burger King on Route 21 between 1:18 and 5:55 a.m. Sunday, state police said. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.

Harassment: George Flenniken, 78, of Waynesburg, told state police Gloria Patterson, 20, of Waynesburg, has continuously harassed him for money during the last few months. Patterson will be charged with harassment, police said.

Crash: No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at 9:47 a.m. Jan. 7 on Sugar Camp Road. Police said Stanley J. Demaske, 29, of Jefferson was driving too fast for the snowy conditions. He lost control of his vehicle which struck a vehicle operated by Mark A. McNeely, 57, of Waynesburg.
