Wolf names choices for Aging, inspector general
HARRISBURG (AP) – Gov.-elect Tom Wolf is naming his choices to head Pennsylvania’s Department of Aging and to serve as the state’s inspector general.
Wolf said Friday he will nominate Teresa Osborne to be the secretary of Aging, citing her work in northeastern Pennsylvania to help protect older people from abuse and exploitation. If she’s confirmed by the Senate, she would succeed Brian Duke, who has held the post since 2011.
Wolf also tapped Grayling Williams to be the state inspector general, whose office investigates complaints about fraud, waste and misconduct in state agencies. Williams has more than 30 years of experience in federal law enforcement and currently works for the state attorney’s office of professional responsibility.
