Two plead guilty to DUI

WAYNESBURG – Two people pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 12 before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Brian K. Price, 50, of 525 Short St., Waynesburg, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, fined $1,025 and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.

He pleaded guilty to DUI and a summary traffic violation.

Price was arrested Aug. 5 in Waynesburg after the vehicle he was operating crashed into a parked truck on Porter Street. Price had a blood-alcohol content of 0.279 percent.

Susano Garcia Jr., 36, of Alvin, Texas, was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in jail, fined $1,025 and ordered to perform 25 hours of community service after pleading guilty to DUI and a summary traffic violation.

Garcia was arrested Aug. 23 after his vehicle crashed into another vehicle on Route 19 in Washington Township. His BAC was 0.218 percent.
