Court cases
Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Lynda Cacia, 62, 110 South McDonald St., McDonald; simple assault; charged June 8; sentence – 14 days to 23 months in jail, anger management, restitution, no contact with victim and banned from Pitt Hotel Bar.
Terry L. Tosi, 44, 18 Nichols Lane, Eighty Four; disorderly conduct; charged May 1; sentence – $300 fine.
Christina M. Prentice, 32, 111 South Hills Terrace, Brownsville; conspiracy to commit theft; charged Nov. 16, 2010; sentence – 24 months of probation and no contact with victim.
Roger K. Sargent Sr., 51, 706 Howard St., Brownsville; unsworn falsification; charged Feb. 11, 2013; sentence – 2 years of probation, 5 hours of community service, banned from possessing firearms for 2 years or more and banned from Walmart.
Jason E. Waychoff, 36, 2770 Jefferson Ave., Washington; simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child; charged May 26; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and no contact with victim and any minor child.
Danielle B. Jeffers, 24, 106 Colonial Way, Canonsburg; endangering the welfare of a child; charged Sept. 17, 2013; sentence – 23 months of probation, mental health evaluation, parenting course and contact with child victim subject to Children and Youth Services.
William S. Helmick, 41, 111 First St., Canonsburg; forgery; charged Oct. 31, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Loran B. Yonkers, 56, 7 Apple Drive, Fredericktown; reckless endangerment; charged May 15, 2013; sentence – 1 to 23 months in jail.
Brian D. Carter, 30, Pittsburgh; theft; charged May 17, 2013; sentence – 18 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victim.
Eric A. Hill, 36, 444 Chestnut St., Monessen; disorderly conduct; charged May 3; sentence – $300 fine.
Jason M. Deramo, 38, 7127 Grand Ave., Pittsburgh; unsworn falsification; charged March 8; sentence – 24 months of probation, 5 hours of community service and no possession of firearms.
Steven C. Loughman, 42, 65 Gale Drive, Washington; resisting arrest and retail theft; charged June 17; sentence – 44 days to 23 months in jail, abstain, good behavior and banned from Chicken Charlie’s.
Daniel K. Clark, 27, 549 Thompson Ave., Donora; recklessly endangerment; charged June 29; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, restitution and no contact with victim.
Tierra S. Ward, 23, 45 Matthews Road, Belle Vernon; disorderly conduct; charged June 28; sentence – 12 months of probation and anger management classes.
