1 min read

A Monongahela man was jailed Thursday on charges he threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend at her home 10 months ago.

District Judge Mark Wilson sent Shawn Greenough, 27, of 216 Gee St., to Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond after he appeared for his arraignment in the case.

Monongahela police accused Greenough of kicking in the door to Amanda Amann’s residence at 824 Marne Ave. after she told him to leave March 23, court records state.

He ran from the residence before police arrived, after he allegedly damaged some of the contents of Amann’s residence and threw a brick through two of her vehicle’s windows, police stated in the affidavit.

Police later apprehended him on West Main Street.

He was charged with trespassing, flight to avoid prosecution, making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
