Paul Vahaly, 18, of Bentleyville was injured Friday when his car was hit from behind by a sport utility vehicle driven by John M. Hyde, 32, of Bethel Park, while traveling on Interstate 79 northbound near the Southpointe exit in Cecil. State police said Hyde failed to stop for slowing traffic. He will be cited for driving too fast for conditions. Vahaly went to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
