ROGERSVILLE – West Greene Area Lions Club named three West Greene High School seniors – Ashlee Coss, Brooke Gipson and Brittany Lynn Gorby – as its outstanding students of the month.

Coss, daughter of Tom and Ellen Coss of New Freeport, is a member of the Student Government Association, SADD and the track team.

She has received a National Honor Student Sward and is a member of Willow Grove Independent Baptist Church where she volunteers in the nursery and helps with vacation Bible school.

She also is a volunteer firefighter and is an instructor in first aid, CPR and AED.

Coss plans to attend Edinboro University and major in social studies.

Gipson, daughter of Angie Gipson of Graysville and Jason Gipson of Warren, Ohio, is a member of the Spanish and science clubs, Student Government Association and the prom committee.

She was vice president of her junior class, has been secretary of the Spanish club and volunteers with blood drives at the school.

Gipson would like to attend Kent State University and major in nursing.

Gorby, daughter of Larry and Tracy Gorby of Aleppo, is a member of the Spanish and science clubs, Student Government Association and has served as treasurer of her class.

She also serves as treasurer of the Spanish club and is a member of the prom committee.

She received an award for perfect attendance and volunteers with the American Red Cross and at the Aleppo Brethren Church.

Gorby plans to attend college and major in elementary education.
