Pump stolen: A diesel pump owned by Frontier Environmental Service of Jones Mill, Westmoreland County, was stolen Sunday from a fuel tank at a pipeline site in the 900 block of Jolly School Road, Buffalo, state police said.

Gun, cellphone stolen: Kenneth Glendenning of Valley View Terrace told Canonsburg police Sunday his handgun, $80 and cellphone was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at Town Park.

Woman assaulted: Robert Lee Glass Jr., 27, of Valley View Terrace, will be charged by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Misty Helmick, 25, during a confrontation Saturday at their home. She was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Teen charged: Daniel Robert Bradwell, 18, of 3 Moore Lane, Cecil, was charged Friday by Canonsburg police with unauthorized use of a vehicle, minor driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations. He is accused of taking a vehicle without permission from a lot at 20 E. Pike St. June 27. He was found with the vehicle in Cecil. Police said his blood-alcohol content was six times the 0.02 limit presumed for intoxication for drivers under the age of 21. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug charges: Christine Marie Cain, 27, of 105 Conklin Road, North Strabane Township, was charged Friday by Canonsburg police with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia stemming from a March 8 incident on Harrison Street. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Three charged: Emily E. Poye, 21, of 187 Lynn Road, Canton, Cain A. Liggett, 27, of 66 Monarch Ave., Canton, and Sean E. Haines, 29, of 109 Linden Road, North Strabane Township, were charged Friday by state police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after their were reportedly found with a suspected narcotic and empty stamp bags stemming from a June 22 incident at Liggett’s home. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged in stop: Jason Alan Williams, 40, of New Martinsville, W.Va., was arrested Friday by state police stemming from a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near the Jessop Place exit, Canton. Police received reports of an erratic driver. Williams was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and traffic violations. He was placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Nurse, guard assaulted: Trisha L. Simmons, 39, of Pricedale, was arrested Friday night by Carroll police on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct after she allegedly assaulted a nurse and security guard in the emergency room at Monongahela Valley Hospital when they stopped her from trying to leave the area. Both the nurse and guard had to be treated. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Jailed on detainer: Rebecca Ellen Plaisted, 46, of 210 Railroad St., McDonald, was arrested Saturday by McDonald police on a probation detainer stemming from an incident at 336 E. Lincoln Ave. She was placed in Washington County jail.

Burglary arrest: Richard J. Fine, 28, of 425 Chess St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. Police accuse Fine of breaking into his neighbor’s residence between May 5 and 18 and stealing jewelry valued at $4,050, most of which was recovered from a local pawn shop. He is in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Forgery, receiving arrest: Mark David Hatfield Jr., 33, of Kittanning, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by state police on charges of receiving stolen property and forgery stemming from a July 2 incident. Carol Shrader of Morris told state police several checks were stolen from her. Hatfield, who is her grandson, reportedly cashed one and wrote another to a business. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $3,000 bond.

DUI and drug paraphernalia: Police stopped Evan Churney, 30, of Smithfield Street, Canonsburg, July 11 at Valleybrook and Bebout roads for failing to stop at a stop sign. Police said they smelled alcohol and saw a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana on the passenger side. Upon searching Churney’s vehicle, police said they discovered three glass pipes, one wooden pipe and a grinder used to process marijuana. Churney, who was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for a blood test, will be charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, running a stop sign and failure to have the required vehicle registration.

Two-vehicle accident: Michael Gilbert, 23, of Hays Road, Upper St. Clair, was northbound on Route 19 at Old Oak Road when his vehicle was struck on the passenger-side quarter panel by a vehicle driven by Irene J. Gordon, 80, of Old Oak Road, township police said. According to police, Gordon said she thought she had a green light. Gilbert’s vehicle had to be towed.

Welding leads stolen: An employee of 3 Bolt Construction of Youngstown, Ohio, told South Strabane police Friday 250-feet of welding leads was stolen from three trucks parked at Spring Hill Suites, Trinity Point. The leads are valued at $3,000.

Man assaulted: Kenneth Long, 31, of 518 E. Maiden St., Washington, was punched several times in the face during a confrontation Saturday at a home in the 800 block of North Main Street, Washington police said. Charges are pending.

Apartment burglarized: Gabriela Chrispin, 766 W. Chestnut St., told Washington police Saturday her apartment was broken into an $550, tools and clothing were stolen.

Purse stolen: Melody Anderson of Claysville told Washington police Saturday her purse containing her food access cards and WIC checks was stolen from her unlocked car while it was parked in the 200 block of West Chestnut Street.

Paint sprayer stolen: Vince Reagan, 196 McAdam Ave., told Washington police Sunday a paint sprayer he had just purchased was stolen from the back of his pickup truck.
