City man arrested for burglarizing office at Washington Park pool

A Washington man was arrested Wednesday by city police for allegedly burglarizing the office at Washington Park pool a day earlier and stealing a safe containing $460 and employee paychecks. Joshua Marshman, 31, of 118 North Ave., was stopped Wednesday night in the 100 block of Springfield Avenue, according to court documents, and had the checks and cash in his possession.

He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
