Produce to the People, the Salvation Army’s monthly food distribution event for income eligible households, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Those who do not possess a “pass card” can bring a current driver’s license, utility bill or lease with his or her name and address to receive one. Participants are asked to bring a box, cart or wagon to carry food.

Country music will be featured at the New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Country Sounds and Pat Henderson will perform. Admission is $4. The event is sponsored by the fire company’s ladies auxiliary.

A rummage sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, in Rices Landing United Methodist Church, 125 Main St., Rices Landing. Lunch and baked goods also will be sold.

The July meeting of Marianna-West Beth Joint Sewage Authority has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. July 29 at the West Bethlehem Township Municipal Building.
