PennDOT maintenance schedule for week of July 27

The state Department of Transportation issued the following tentative work plan for Greene County starting Monday.

Maintenance activities are conducted, weather permitting. Jerry Simkovic, Greene County maintenance manager, urged motorists to drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for work zones requiring the use of headlights.

• Bridge replacement on Route 1023, Cumberland Township.

• Bridge flushing will be conducted on various state routes throughout the county.

• Patching on Route 21 from the West Virginia line to Route 18-Golden Oaks Road and to the Washington County line.

• Base repair on Mapletown Road in Greene and Monongahela townships.

• Flood cleanup on Route 4029 WW Railroad Road, Dilile Road, Waterdam Road and Route 221 in Washington & Franklin townships.

• Slide repair on Route 3009 Toms Run in Jackson Township.

• State roads will be reviewed and signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
