Police beat July 27
Assault arrest: Aaron David Mock, 40, of 1629 Morey Road, Deemston, was arrested early Sunday by state police on two counts unlawful restraint, simple assault and terroristic threats and three counts of harassment stemming from an incident at his home. His 14-year-old daughter reported she escaped from the house and that her father was assaulting her mother and 10-year-old brother. The boy told police that his father pointed a gun at his mother. Mock also struck his wife and son. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
Warrant arrest: Matthew Donahue, 50, of Pittsburgh, turned himself in to McDonald police Wednesday on a warrant charging him with simple assault and harassment stemming from a July 20 incident in the borough. He was arraigned before District Judge Anthony Saveikis in Allegheny County and released.
