Police beat July 28
Harassment charge: Shirley Pelkey, 64, of 195 Maple St., Carmichaels, was charged July 16 by Cumberland Township police with harassment. She is accused of slapping the victim in the face and causing redness to the left cheek.
Woman shoved: Marlin Bell, 67, of 139 Pine Bank Road, New Freeport, was charged July 11 by Cumberland Township police with harassment. He is accused of grabbing victim by the throat and shoving her.
Disorderly conduct charge: Megan Bryner, 30, of 119 First St., Marianna, was charged Thursday by state police with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. She is accused of kicking and spitting on the victim’s car after being fired from Rohanna’s at 1005 Rolling Meadows Road. She also acted in a loud and threatening manor resulting in many patrons leaving the location, state police said.
Disorderly conduct charge: James Caldwell, 42, of Waynesburg, was charged Sunday by state police with disorderly conduct. He is accused of causing a disturbance outside of Lot 4 Pisgah Ridge Road in Washington Township.
Trespassing charge: Tyler Dial, 19, of 133 Cedar Ridge Road, Waynesburg, was charged Tuesday by Waynesburg police with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He is accused of trying to enter the residence at 362 E. Franklin St. in Waynesburg by breaking a window with a brick and threatening the victim.
Purse stolen: A purse containing a wallet and other items was stolen from an unlocked SUV parked at the rear of 555 N. Richhill St. between 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Waynesburg police said.
Mower stolen: A push lawn mower and a 2 ½-gallon gasoline container were stolen from the back yard at 158 E. Greene St. between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday, Waynesburg police said.
