The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Daneja R. Moorer, 22, 207 Fifth St., Charleroi; access device fraud and receiving stolen property; charged Jan. 15; sentence – 12 to 46 months in jail and restitution.
Eric D. Richards, 21, 67 A First Street, Avella; disorderly conduct; charged Sept. 27; sentence – four to eight months in jail and no contact with victim.
Steven Plance, 36, 17 Minooka St., Pittsburgh; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 25; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Jarrett M. Short, 20, of McDonald; theft by unlawful taking; charged Sept. 14; sentence – two years of probation and restitution.
Appearing before Judge Valerie Costanzo were:
Fred Johnson, 46, 54 Greenhill Road, Pricedale; defiant trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 4; sentence – 24 months of probation, no contact with any Washington County Housing Authority property and community service.
Brett M. Mechtel, 28, 259 Cherry Ave., Houston; receiving stolen property; charged Sept. 19; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victim.
John C. Pearson Jr., 33, 403 Short Drive, New Eagle; driving with a suspended license; charged May 10, 2014; sentence – $200 fine.
Karen Franklin, 39, 107 Peters St., Duquesne; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 14; sentence – six months of probation.
Appearing before Judge John Disalle was:
Ashley T. Coulson, 25, 185 Arlington Ave., Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 2; sentence – 12 months of probation and 24 months in the restrictive treatment program.
