Police beat July 31
Wife assaulted: Richard J. Riley, 42, of 342 Gun Hill Road, Wind Ridge, faces charges of simple assault and harassment after state police said he punched, kicked and head butted his wife in their Aleppo Township home about 7 p.m. Monday.
Toddler found wandering: Cumberland Township police charged Robert Dickey, 66, of 113 Stage Coach Road, Nemacolin, with child endangerment after investigators said he fell asleep while babysitting a 3-year-old child July 10. Police said the boy was found walking near Nemacolin Road wearing only a diaper.
Simple assault charge: Phillip T. Winkler, 44, of 146 W. Franklin St., Waynesburg, was charged with simple assault and harassment after borough police said he assaulted one of his roommates during an argument inside their apartment July 22.
