Two state representatives who have constituencies in Washington County announced additional office hours here.

State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane Township, said expanded constituent service will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month, beginning June 11, at Chartiers Township Community Center, 2013 Community Center Drive, Houston. No appointments are needed. The twice-a-month satellite office hours offer free assistance with state issues and programs.

State Rep. Jim Christiana, R-Beaver, began offering satellite hours in three municipalities in western Washington County, taking effect this week.

A member of Christiana’s staff will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Hanover Township Building, 11 Municipal Drive, Burgettstown, where the phone number is 724-728-7655; the third Monday of each month at the South Franklin Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Road, Washington, where the phone number is 724-728-7655; and every Wednesday and Thursday at the Independence Township Municipal Building, 34 Campbell St., Avella, where the phone number is 724-587-3095.
