The Bethlehem-Center School District superintendent has entered the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for her arrest last December on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol near her South Fayette Township home.

The May 15 Allegheny County Court order in the case against Linda M. Marcolini, 59, also called for the suspension of her driver’s license for at least 60 days and requires her to complete a full drug and alcohol assessment program, court records show.

Marcolini, of Northridge Drive, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.174 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent state limit, when South Fayette police took her into custody after her vehicle collided with another about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 on Oakridge Road.

Marcolini is still employed as Beth-Center’s superintendent, said Jim Davis, the district’s solicitor. She did not return a call seeking comment Friday.

A person who completes all the requirements of the ARD program for first offenders can petition the court to have his or her record expunged.
