David Singer/The Almanac A “Knot Just Weeds” display of paper made from Japanese knotweed was featured during Art in Action, an annual interactive art show that was held at Washington Park Sunday. Albert Patone, of Pittsburgh, cooks the weeds with soap powder, places them in a blender with water, then soaks the mixture in a basin of water to form the papery substance.
