Mt. Pleasant Township is updating its comprehensive 10-year plan and officials want to gather input from residents and business owners about their vision of the community’s future. An open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. June 24 in the meeting room at the municipal building, 31 McCarrell Road, Hickory, to discuss topics such as the impacts of development, concervation and housing. Additional public events are planned in coming months where recommendations and plans can be reviewed.
