Single-car crash: State police said Shelby W. Watkins, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va., was uninjured June 9 when he swerved to avoid a deer along Township Building Road in Dunkard Township and crashed into a guardrail about 12:30 p.m.

Ball field vandalized: State police are investigating after a person drove an all-terrain vehicle onto a ball field at Dunkard Township Park on either June 11 or 12, causing damage to the playing surface.

Rollover crash: A driver suffered moderate injuries early Sunday morning when he crashed his car on Orchard Road in Franklin Township. State police said Laben Thomas, 20, of Carmichaels, was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment following the 1 a.m. rollover crash near Hannah Lane. Police said Thomas was texting when he crashed into a tree and his car rolled onto its roof.

Disorderly conduct citation: Two women will be cited following a fight at 102 Wayne Village in Franklin Township about 5 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Kiley Jo Cain, 36, of 108 Third Street, Waynesburg, will be cited for harassment and disorderly conduct while Tara L. Hall, 33, of 612 Sixth St. Mather will be cited for disorderly conduct, police said.

Purse stolen: A purse was stolen from inside an unlocked car parked outside a home in the 200 block of Elm Drive early Friday morning, state police said.
