Police beat June 17
Gas cans stolen: Kathleen Temas, 227 Clarke Road, Buffalo, told state police Sunday two gasoline cans were stolen from her property.
Sale to minors: The operator of Campy’s Pizza, 151-153 Wood St., California, was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with selling or furnishing alcohol to minors after allegedly selling alcohol to a 19-year-old and 20-year-old Feb. 19 and at other times in the past year.
Disorderly house charge: Donald Edward Taylor, 43, of 249 Wood St., California, was charged by borough police with violating the disorderly house ordinance for playing his stereo loudly at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said it disturbed others in the neighborhood.
Bike found: Alan Harris, of 211 Greenside Ave., told Canonsburg police he and his wife were driving on Adams Avenue when they spotted what looked like their bicycle propped against a tree outside Colusci Transmissions. When they got home, they discovered one of their bicycles was gone from their porch. A Colusci employee told police that he put the bike out to be claimed after finding it behind the building. The rear fender, chain guard, pedals and grip were damaged.
Club cited: The operator of the Polish American Citizen and Beneficial Society, 64 Griffith Ave., Canton, was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with permitting gambling or operating gambling devices on six days in March and April.
Restaurant cited: The operator of Mr. Bigs Grill and Tap Room, 595 Racetrack Road, Chartiers, was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with furnishing alcohol to a 20-year-old May 13.
Disorderly charge: Joshua Suty of Smithton was charged with disorderly conduct by state police after he allegedly pushed in cardboard covering a window opening at the home of Melissa Ann Baker, Wilson Road, Fallowfield, Monday afternoon in order to see inside the residence.
Drug arrest: Shane Oravec, 19, of 715 Center Ave., North Charleroi, was arrested Friday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of paraphernalia and illegal use of a communications device stemming from a traffic stop in the 600 block of Peach Way. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.
Cans taken: Two five-gallons cans of gasoline were reported missing Monday from an unlocked shed on Evans Drive in McMurray, police said.
Tools stolen: Robert Fleischauer, of 50 Daley Drive, South Franklin, told state police Monday the door on his shed was forced open and an electric staple gun and circular saw were stolen.
House burglarized: Jim Greco, 930 Bruce St., told Washington police Monday three televisions, a Blu-Ray player and movies, Samsung touchpad, iPhones and eight pairs of sunglasses were among the items stolen in a burglary of his residence.
Harassment charge: Elijah Gordon, of 525 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly shoved Nautica Bennett during an incident Monday at her Addison Street home.
Woman punched: Jeremy Lee, 26, of 105 Woodland Ave., Washington, was charged with harassment by Washington police after he allegedly punched Jessica Schmidt during an incident at their home Monday.
TV stolen: A door at Zaricki’s Swap Shop, 155-159 N. Main St., was forced open Monday and a television was stolen, Washington police said.
